JavaByteVerify virus

I have been having some problems with my computer over the past couple of months with an annoyance that has become increasingly worse over time. I have run Spybot, Spyblaster, Norton System works...and nothing seemed to work to pick up a name for this virus.

AVG though picked up a name for it but couldn't do anything because it is in an archive, which complicates matters.

If anyone has a viable, reliable remedy (that works!) for it, please let me know.
