Seeing the light

This can mean many things to many people. To me, as I saw this beautiful peeking of the sun I was driving towards on the way home last night, it means a anewing in an sense and a new direction for me. I have put a lot of the past behind me (ie my husband’s death albeit never forgotten) and I have been working hard to have some new beginnings throughout the past 3 years, which entailed moving back to Austin, working through the barriers of a teenager, creating new job focus as a result of my auto accident in Feb 2004, and so much more.

I have added new meaning to my life through changing of careers, allowing myself to work in professions which more truly reflect who I am as an individual, learning more about myself and others through blogging, started on some books that I hope to publish someday, etc. etc.

For others, seeing the light, can mean seeing their way through a lot of turmoil to a life without the turmoil and confusion; as well as many other things.

What does “seeing the light” mean for you? Have you seen the light yet; or, at least, on the road to seeing it come before you???
